The Classes
What do we need to wear for the classes?
We ask that our WestWayers wear all black for our classes but there is no prescriptive uniform as we want everyone to feel comfortable in what they are wearing. We do have on offer some branded WestWay clothing which you can buy once you have signed-up.
What do I need to bring to the class?
We provide you with a WestWay bag, pencil, folder and water bottle as a free welcome gift. You will be required to bring these items to every session. Other than that we rarely ask you to bring anything else unless we are rehearsing for a show. Just bring lots of energy and a smile and that will be perfect!
Do I need to practice outside of the classes?
Practising is always a great idea to improve and develop your talent further. Plus we will be putting on performances and if you would like to take part you will need to learn the songs, which might take a bit of practice. As we have small class sizes, we can adapt to the needs of the individual easily so let us know if there are any issues. If you are wanting do Graded LCM exams the practising is an absolute must!
How many children are in the classes?
We pride ourselves on having small classes to give your child the attention they deserve, so we never have more than 18 children per class. And we do this without a premium price tag!
Where are the classes held?
We are in a state of the art performance facility called The Exchange - a Theatre with studio spaces just opposite Twickenham Station. Most of our classes are held here in studios with semi-sprung floors and great acoustics. Take a look by heading here: https://www.westwayperformingarts.co.uk/venue

How are you priced compared to other Drama and Dance Schools?
We pride ourselves on giving you premium experiences in the arts without the price tag. Our classes are smaller, we have exceptional facilities and our teachers are trained in the arts and education. All of that with charging less than most schools in the area.
Do you offer Sibling Discounts?
We do! If you sign-up more than one child with us then they will both get 20% off the term time course. (This is not in conjunction with any other offer). If you’re wanting to sign up more than one child then please email us at enquires@westwayperformingarts.co.uk.
What does Discount if you’re a WestWay Member mean?
If you are enrolled in our Musical Theatre classes then you are a WestWay member and have access to discounts on other classes. If you do not attend our Musical Theatre Classes then I’m afraid that discount isn’t for you.
Why do prices vary depending on the term?
Some terms are longer than others so we price based on the term length. This means some terms are cheaper than others. Our pricing still averages out as cheaper or inline with other schools.
What happens if COVID means you have to cancel lessons?
If we have to cancel the term due to COVID you will recieve a full refund, or we will move your booking to the next term. If we have to cancel some lessons then we will do our best to reschedule the classes. Where this is not possible to reschedule, you will recieve a refund for the value of that class.
